Planting tulips from 2014

While I was planting crocuses a few weekends ago, I also took the opportunity to drop in a few tulips I had been carrying around for a while.  I had purchased them at the annual Skagit Valley Tulip Festival in 2014!  This is what they looked like at the time.

For years, I kept them in a paper bag in the closet!

They look pretty desiccated.

And they came with a pretty strong warning that they might not come back.

I carried them around for that long, so I might as well plant them and see what happens.  I'm not expecting much!
